Great mosque providing prayer facilities for men and women. Have lots of regular activities for youth and the local community. They have a coffee and a mother and toddlers group on Tuesday mornings which welcomes everyone whatever your faith. It is family friendly mosque welcoming everyone.

Year round facilities for sisters. This mosque also welcomes children. Non-Muslims are also welcome to visit and ask questions.

EASILY THE BEST MASJID OUT THERE - This has to be the best Masjid (Mosque) that I've been to, not because of architectural grandeur or cosmetic allure, but because of the atmosphere within the place.
There is a real sense of brotherhood and sisterhood. The Masjid is attended by Indians, Pakistani's, Bangladeshi's, Somali's, White and Black people, all standing side by side, forgetting their differences and coming together in prayer. People come from far and wide to pray.
Everyone here is very respectful. People go out of their way to make each other feel comfortable and join in the many programmes on offer.
During Ramadhan they offer a full Suhoor and Iftar meal at the masjid. They provide water bottles at Taraweeh prayers (8 Units/Rakaah) and every night at 01:30 they have Qiyam-Al-Layl where brothers and sisters get the opportunity to stand in prayer during the last third of the night and they are the organizers of 'Eid in the Park' Salaah & celebrations.
And Sisters, infact whole families are encouraged to come, join in and leave together. Children are running around and it's tolerated here, no one jumps to rebuking them and by this they feel welcomed and want to spend more time in the Masjid.
They even have set open days throughout the year for non-muslims to come and view the mosque with no conditions attached.
Above anything, the people at this masjid are trying to revive the Sunnah of the Messenger (PBUH) upon the teachings of the Salaf (The Prophet's companions) and the Saheeh Hadeeth (traditions of our Prophet).
This is truly an amazing place and I pray that many people read this review and go to visit and that Almighty Allah continue to bless the place and the efforts of its founders, staff members and volunteers.

Easily the best mosque/madressah in Blackburn out of the 34 currently scattered around the town.
Very inclusive of all faiths, creeds and beliefs, non-judgemental, child friendly, approachable imams and staff, open and transparent environment. The only Masjid that encourages all family members to attend and contribute to running the Masjid (including sisters).
Dedicated to pursuing religious matters in line with what the Qur'an and Sunnah have to say (the saheeh'est hadeeth of all the hadeeth, not the weak hadeeth that can be refuted).
They offer talks and Khutbahs (Sermons) in English.
May Allah reward them for all their efforts in trying to spread the religion of the Almighty. I don't have the words to do enough justice to this establishment and to describe how far the brothers & sisters here excel in what they do.

This is a lovely masjid. My Son attends the maktab here. Teachers are kind, caring and passionate. They are understanding and supportive. My Son has learned a lot and enjoys his time there. They have a lot of programmes for children and their aim and ethos is to create love for Deen in children by creating a positive and fun atmosphere. May Allah bless all at D.U.S and reward their efforts.

A Masjid that accommodates both men and women. Alhumdulillah! It is a place with amazing people and the same people who organise the Eid in the Park prayers and fun days! May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala bless them with immense rewards for their efforts and increase them with barakah, Ameen.

Since moving here too Blackburn over 4 years ago darul islam has been like a family too me and my children very welcoming and caring. Other masjids need too be like this. Jazakallah khairn Darul Islam. May u be blessed always.
