Good masjid, the only one in Canterbury at the moment, currently being extended. Right next to kent university, parking at front of masjid and at the back you can pay to park in the kent uni sports hall car park.

They have a website as well. Where you can see the prayer timings and you can donate for the mosque construction plan. To be honest lots of facilities are provided by the University of Kent. So the environment and the people around is very friendly. Don't forget that Muslim or Non Muslim both are creation of Allah. May Allah have peace upon all of us.

1- Jumma Prayer time 1:15 ,
2- After 10 minutes Jumma prayer “Asar time” start at 1:32 that’s good you can pray both with Jammat
3- you can use university ‘s car parking 2£ for 3 hours, it’s better to keep coins because some time parking machine doesn’t accept cards

This Mosque is my adorable place in Canterbury.
Great, friendly atmosphere. Clean, organized facilities. Kind, knowledgeable Imam.

May Allah reward you all for your great effort

I will be honest and mention that I am a committee member since more than a year. However, I have volunteered for 7 years.

It is a smallish mosque. Congregation is in the few hundreds range in the most busiest day before Covid.

I can say that it has dealt very wisely with pandemic. We closed our doors even before the first lockdown. We followed all the government rules and guidance of Muslim Council of Britain.
The mosque helped in many fronts; hot meals delivery, helping the vulnerable, helping the NHS in their temporary set GP centre outside our door. Many hampers to frontline workers, food parcels to the in need families and fundraising for refugees. Donating to Canterbury council, catching lives, Archbishop school is among some.

Even when it was allowed to open, only individual prayers were allowed for a while until deemed safe to allow Friday prayer, observing all the rules of sanitation, social distancing, one way system and so on.

We have a register for every congregational prayer for track and trace.

Our youth club is doing great work.

Looking forward to normal times when we can resume our normal activities and have open days and school visits back.
