I don't do many reviews but here goes!
I live is east london madina masjid is my local hackney.

I had a job in Wimbledon needed somewhere close by and that had 2 juma times. I picked this mosque as state on website 12.15 and 1pm. I went for 12.15pm (side note there is loads pay and display parking like half mile around mosque) got there for 12.15 went upstairs and they started the usual talks before the kutba. Imam talks about miriam and esa (mary and jesus) until 12.49pm and does 30 second dua and starts juma namaaz. So no Arabic kutba. When namaaz did start there wasn't enough room and everyone had to make more lines! Half the people move the half don't making all wonky lines.
Exiting the mosque at 1pm right after the namaaz no sunnats prayed people can't get out fast enough because people wanting to pray 2nd 1pm juma are blocking the exit as the 1pm juma is meant to be starting!.

Total shambles. I was shocked i had to ask one of the people outside is this normal and if he was waiting to pray 1pm juma. I cannot recommend this masjid for anything to be honest. Have upload picture to show you what i mean.

Simple solution start the namaaz at 12.15 giving people time to pray sunnah and exit ready for 1pm jamaat. Total Numnuts!

I was the ahal of this mosque. The good thing is they arrange two Jumuah prayers on Fridays because of the lack of space. In Ramadan, they offer good iftar provided by the nearby restaurants and philanthropic people. The mosque is not very specious, one of the demerits of the mosque. There is a shop downstairs you will find Islamic items such as miswak, tasbeeh, caps, etc.

Easily accessible and within walking distance from Tooting Broadway station. Take ablution on the ground floor, main prayer hall is on the first floor. There are 2 sessions conducted for Jumaat, starting at 12pm and 1pm. Come early, else may not have space to enter. Clear signage for ladies' entrance.

Lovely people. Lovely Masjid. Just not enough space for the sisters. And there's no way the exit should be blocked. When we wanted to leave and had to go we could hardly make our way out. It must have been so stressful for the sisters who were praying in that area as well. Not good. And not safe. Oh and by the way LOVELY IFTAR...the best...

Extremely rude imam and muazzin treated me horribly because I came from a local wedding without a mask and mat even though they were handing masks out to everyone. They singled me out as I was in the front row and tried to embarrass me in front of everyone immediately after the iqamah - before we were meant to pray! The muazzin was VERY old and VERY rude. If you are that scared of coronavirus you should stay home, especially if you're at risk! The most important thing for a Muslim is the Salaah and you should not scare people away from the masjid. Fear Allah and treat people with respect I will make sure to never come back here. Some people are exempt from wearing a mask and they did not take that into consideration either, they wanted to show their authority because they get a kick out of it. I pray that Allah guides you and you stop shaming Muslims in front of the congregation. You are an imam NOT the police.
