Thornton Heath Islamic Centre

Wonderful Eid service. A very lovely mosque, clean and not cramped (7am eid prayer). Very enjoyable talk by the imam; setting the historical context but relating it to modern times. This was my first visit but will not be my last.

Ma'sha'Allah mosque in the heart of Thornton heath. It's about 5 minutes from the station but has limited parking around this area (may be worth parking in Tesco's). Traffic is always busy around here so public transport is always a better bet.

This mosque has been long established now with a tight management structure in place to ensure there are limited nefarious influences. It was converted from a pub which closed down and has contributed to the local community since it has opened. It had under gone recent renovations and is a clean place to pray. There is a madraasah and other talks /classes. It is a 'hanafi' mathhab mosque in case you are interested.

Very nice place to pray, and it is run by a lovely bunch of locals. MashAllah. Keep it up guys

The mosque closes between prayers so people who miss the congregation and come later cannot pray. I drive for work so sometimes I'm not able to come for congregation and then it's closed later and I have to drive around to other mosques who might be closed too. I think it a big disservice to the Muslims to close the mosque.

Management at Friday prayer is so cooperative and friendly.
Would recommend every one to visit irrespective of their religious beliefs

No one bothers you that much. You go in pray your salah and get out but it is how you carry your self anyway you go there’s trials and life is a test.
