From reading the reviews I’m slightly concerned. The location is very convenient for many Muslims and there aren’t many other prayer facilities in the area.

Why do we allow mosques to be taken over by misogynistic old-fashioned men? Not allowing women to pray when there is plenty of space and having worshippers facing unpleasant treatment is not right in a mosque.

A mosque committee should be diverse to represent the community and give equal rights to a diversity of worshippers.

Never thought i would downrate a masjid, but this man may Allah question him on day of Qiyamah, he physically pushed me outside and my fingers were about to become pinched in the door. He was extremely rude and didnt let me inside as I was a traveller from Leicester and politely asked him if i could pray 2 rakah qasr asr before maghrib jamah. He pushed me out and said to me "you are not the police you cant come inside" the man sitting in the background was the imam who kept quiet after i was finally let in. I feel as if this place is used personally for these guys. When i finally entered these two guys were laughing and chilling inside. This isnt a mosque, its a bengali chill zone

No ladies area. Was very inconvenient and was late to prayer as I couldn't find anywhere to pray. I used google maps to search nearest masjid and to get there to find they don't let women in was frustrating.

I don't understand how could this mosque close at 7am in the morning? What time they pray morning prayer?If they finished early I would plea to all the mosque please keep it open until prayer time ends so we can pray because this is the point of having mosque

Full on argument outside the mosque today as yet again the curators wouldn't allow sisters to pray. This is one of the few mosques in this part of London and regularly has 3 empty floors during communal prayers. There are seemingly 4 curators who could easily direct traffic so sisters could pray upstairs but they simply ban them. This is a shameful look for all Muslims from a mosque in the heart of London.

A real blessing to have a place like this right in the city, if you work in London or are visiting, you'll be able to pray your Friday prayer here, although it gets pretty packed. You can also do the daily prayers here if you want, but the mosque only opens around the prayer time, otherwise it's locked.

Honest review, here we go;

Ali Dawah and his posie are the reason why for a lot of the 0 star reviews. The two girls who wanted to pray came after majrib, this was back in the summer when majrib was passed 8pm. A few things, why was they out so late? Work finishes at 5 pm also, Prophet Swt said people shouldn't be outside after majrib. Girls have become too comfortable being out late with no mahram.

A lot of mosque don't actually have women's facilties. The girls could had gone to regent's mosque which was 20mins away.

This mosque is very established and it never gave the impression of having women's facilties. Unfortunately it has become the target of hate because of these new young Muslims. The same girls who don't wear hijab properly pick fights with anything that doesn't accept their camal hump hijab or half their hair showing.

The reason why i gave 3 star reviews is I agree, this mosque in general is badly run. It was closed for a few months in 2021 and when I came today there was no improvements. The carpet is not clean and it smelt bad.

I've been coming here for years and never experience rude behaviour, but I do believe other people's experiences here. This is a very old school mosque, the bengali men who run it are very old and traditional, its not right but at the same time they don't hassle people for donations etch, so they have no incentive to be open to everyone. Again I don't agree with it but it is what it is.

If u are going to go after this mosque, criticise it for the right reasons .

Maghrib did not even begin and they closed the doors before the Azaan saying can not enter as already full did not even let us pray when they had finished plus had really bad attitude no akhlaq whatsoever very disappointed as I had an injured foot and this was the closest prayer centre it was raining and cold and I could not find a space to pray neither did the man who answered the door even want to listen to me just close the door and literally shood us away .very very disappointed
