There is the Islamic Centre of Edgware in Deansbrook Rd, room for 100 people, reasonable size wudu area. There is the mosque in Chandos Crescent, Buckingham Road area, cosy friendly 40 people.
In High Street, the Edgware Central Mosque is bigger, room for around 120 people on the ground floor, possibly more people upstairs, large wudu area, one toilet downstairs, chairs for people to sit before prayers, nice dark red carpet with lots of spaced out place markings (although this doesn't stop people crowding together when Salah begins).
At the back there is an area with hooks, there are shoe racks inside the main hall, on a rainy Sunday afternoon for Asr there were around 60 worshippers including children.
As you enter you come to a narrow corridor where you remove shoes and further down the corridor is wudu followed by the toilet.
No toilet paper was available in the toilet but toilet was clean and there was soap by the sink.
The wudu area is clean and nice looking.
Near the Masjid entrance where you took off your shoes is a door to the prayer hall, a large, warm inviting room. Blinds on the windows, a small fire exit at the far end, fans all around, digital Salah time clock, books, collection tins, calendar for the year on offer.
After Salah the worshippers form an orderly queue for shoes and leave.
The Masjid website has incorrect prayer times though. It showed Asr at 2.45 and the Salah clock said 3.00, and 3.00 was when it started.
The Masjid has a contact number on its website but no email. In February 2022 , Sunday afternoon between Dhur and Asr the Masjid is unfortunately locked. At Dhur there were around 40 male worshippers including a few boys. The prayers and Adhan lovely.
