Masjid Noor

Awesome Mosque. The big park opposite the street adds to the charm of the mosque. Quite and calm. I wish I have my home close to this Mosque. The gate to the street of this mosque holds some historic importance as well.

Very simple masjid with great facilities, large wudhu area & prayer hall with full 5 times daily Salah. Parking can be tricky so give yourself time to find somewhere on the streets near by.

Absolutely love this place, if I'm not mistaken, brother imraan was his name... went out of his way just to make sure the women could read their namaaz. He opened up a separate section especially for them. JazaakAllah.

I believe it was the first mosque in leicester . I was born in leicester in 1968 and it was there then from what my parents tell me . My brother was also the first Muslim to be buried in the Muslim section of saffron cemetery in 1962.

Hot day. Hounded to leave quickly after Dhur Salaah. Fans off and windows being shut whilst people are still praying.
No women's section.

Good masjid situated busiest highfields area shrouding all muslim population and Asian shop find a parking place always problem where ever you find to park park your vehicle and walk wheelchair ♿assist entrance large wudhukhana good size main jamat hall and Upstairs also before always full since IDA open is not much you can get place in main hall easily
