This is a rather new mosque and built in collaboration with the council and housing association. The place is a moderate Sunni mosque and attracts large number of worshippers from across a wide range of ethnicities including Bengali at large, somali, some Arab and others.

It is a welcoming place which also works with the local communities and has open days for people from other faiths etc.

The place had space for female worshippers as well which is good to see.

Prayed Juma here and was really disappointed that the iman kept degrading the public of not using the Islamic calendar and taunting they all use English calendar. But sadly the mosque itself uses the eng calendar. Preaching without practice will yield no results.
Secondly the Imam didn’t bother talking about one of the biggest historical events of Karbala in which Imam Hussain RA was martyred on the hands of the Yazid the cursed. What is the Imam or the mosque scared of??
Why not talking about the grandson of the Holy Prophet sws?

The facilities at this mosque is very good. However an issue may be the length of prayer. The prayers can take very long (upto 15 minutes for zuhr and isha). The Imam should consider the factors required when leading congregational prayer.
