London Muslim Centre

The only mosque in Europe where one can listen to the call for prayers (azaan) during day time. The location is great, just in the heart of Whitechapel, very close to Aldgate East tube station. This is the largest community space for Muslims. I've enjoyed the weekly khutbah from Sheikh Abdul Qaiyum a lot. There are lots of activities initiated from the LMC.

Perfect for events, parties, meetings etc in reasonable price. Parking facilities are available here. Many restaurants including English, Arabian, Turkish, Lebanese, Pakistani, Afgani, Indian, Bengali, Chinese, Italian etc, few superstores, few banks, park, currency exchange, book shops, one petrol station, car park, motorcycle bay, hotels, hospital, dentist, car repair garage, motorcycle repair garage, internet cafe, photography, courier shop etc are around here.

What an experience during Ramadan. This is a must visit. I can assure you that you'll learn something before leaving the building. They translate every word in Bengali and English. Non-Muslims are also welcome here. It is properly segregated. Women have a completely separate building (Maryam Centre).

Perfect place to conduct meetings, training and workshops. Very neat and clean. Access for disabled people are also available.

It's a special and beautiful environment with very welcoming people. Noise of the world feels shut out whenever I visit. Attend as often as you are able for a wonderful experience.
