Stepney Shahjalal Mosque & Cultural Centre

The mosque is good praying. But the school is absolutely rubbish the lectures the teachers have no responsibility for the children why iam say this is because when I left my son 5years old with them for learning in the afternoon class when I came back he was in the street waiting for me and teachers didn't even no so when asked them what happened they just said sorry this happens sometimes mistake. This happened probably 1year ago or less, so I will be reporting this to the children's service Towerhamlets and the local authorities.

Mashallah! Really nice masjid! I found it really useful that they do not speed through their taraweeh and this helps me concentrate. The community seems really friendly and they are currently in the plans to develop the masjid through construction. I would strongly recommend this masjid, and I am not a local.
May Allah bless this masjid and all those that attend for the sake of Allah.. Ameen

A place of worship which has seen many changes within the community resulted in much increased demand for space for men / women alike, as an community run masjid by community based volunteers the masjid has seen much needed changes accordingly to the demands of the worshippers and proud of the new much needed development taking place, A slow process due to much needed funds nevertheless a slow progress which will see closure in the near future God willing. As a worshipper for the past 25+ years I am proud to be part of this amazing journey.

That was amazing! Nice space for women. During taraweeh it was too busy so they need to build that extension (new mosque) very quickly! The Imams all had a beautiful voice mashallah and really good Quran recitation. Ladies are nice and polite. Will come back for sure!

My childhood Masjid at the Heart of Tower Hamlets. The 1st phase of the Masjid is almost done. Can't wait to start salah there. Inn Sha Allah please help this mosque, it still needs donations to complete.

The mosque is rather small with muddy path and does not look welcoming. However the Wednesday's morning sisters circles are superb and that's why I give 5 stars. Hopefully the new mosque will be completed soon, even though it doesn't look like. This place deserves new mosque with better facilities. It's been long time since I went to a place where I felt welcomed. The sisters circle is very engaging and I enjoyed the workshop at the end. The room feels cosy and refreshment is provided. Shah Jalal mosque is very humble place. Don't judge book by its cover. I found more benefit once I stepped inside and I'm looking forward to come again.

A beautiful Masjid in the making! Current one is not big enough to accommodate all the people come to pray but huge open park makes it balanced. Only problem is if it rains, then it become impossible to pray outside.

One of the most amazing worship place in east london. During the summer can pray outside. I spend fews years of my early life in the area beside the Masjid.
Hope all the ongoing building work will finish soon which suppose to be finish long ago.
