Jamia Mosque Newport

Nice place to perform prayer parking might be a issue they got parking on the back of the masjid but those are not enough spaces if you visit this place for less then 3 hours park in asda and walk down to masjid 3 minutes walk..

Very nice and quiet place to pray. The imaam (preach) very approachable.

A beautiful Masjid. Went for a few Fridays prayers. The strangest thing I noticed about this masjid is the fact that the Imam didn't understand or could speak in English. The khutbah was in Urdo, that's not only strange but wiered as well. There were many people including myself that had no clue of the language. Plus, how do you invite people to a religion where they don't understand what you are talking about! It's unfair for the management of the masjid to choose an Imam like that. We have to spread the religion and not restrict it to one community. I still can't get my head around the management of this Masjid, how backward they think? It's England so please get someone who speak for everyone for the love of Allah
