We asked you to show where it said that you stopped selling tickets after a certain time and neither you (Michael) or your staff could provide us with it. Also, we were only 2 minutes late after adverts had finished. I can’t believe you couldn’t show some human empathy to let us teenagers, who already struggle to find things to do in Folkestone, watch a kids film. It is supposed to be a friendly place and a local community but it really has lost its place. And in regards to your staff being polite - you started laughing at us at one point when you said we weren’t allowed in! I’m not sure where else to submit my concerns other than a bad review as I feel people need to be informed on how robotic and prison like this place is. It’s lost all personality. If you could kindly reply with your boss (Chris Lightwing)’s email/phone number so I could raise the concern with him, that would be splendid. :)

awful customer service, was meant to be a fun night with the boys, but quickly took a turn for the worse. michael. where do i even start. threatening us when we had tickets to the cinema, wouldn’t let us in, for a independent cinema you’d think they would let you in if you are running a bit late, however michael wasn’t having it, so we had to leave the cinema after paying 10 pounds each for tickets, just because of 1 grumpy worker, really disappointed as i used to love silver screen, it’s such a shame the workers don’t enjoy their job and feel the need to take out their anger on customers, we would never have this at other cinema's, nightmare night. nuff said.

Reasonable price, local and fun. My kids likes it and we go there regularly. Advice to register on the website, it is easier with the checkout later.

Love this gem of a cinema.... Personal, beautiful, heart of the community and my 8 and 9 year old love it here as well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

I've been visiting this cinema since the early 90s , has always been excellent value for money.

The best cinema ever. Great movie choices. It's like going back in time. I lose myself here on a weekly basis. Love the Thursday morning film club. Brilliant for parents who don't get to go to grown up films. The staff are really friendly and passionate about movies. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you Silverscreen Folkestone.

We took our Cub Pack to learn about the history of Folkestone cinema and had a 'behind the scenes' tour of the projection room. Chris and Daisy fielded all the Cubs' questions incredibly well and were so patient with us, arranging refreshments and laying on a couple of fun short films for that full cinema experience. We had a fantastic time, thank you!

Love this cinema but particularly the cinema club. Excellent range of films and lovely staff.
