I’ve been several times. It can be a great experience. I alternate between this cinema and the bfi.

More often than not the cinema goers are respectful of the people around them. However, I recently had a poor experience whilst watching ‘American Animals’. The couple next to me were constantly rustling confectionery wrappers and munching away. The dude had his phone in his top shirt pocket, it kept vibrating and lighting up.
Switch your phone’s off and eat before or after you go to the cinema. I moved seats but not before my heart rate had shot through the roof.
The end credits of ‘American Animals’ are beautiful, I didn’t see enough of them due to people traipsing out and blocking the screen.

Yes I’m particular. More people should be!

Having said all that, the bar area is a good place to sit before/after the film. It’s also a place to get all that rustling and munching done.

Can’t fault the staff, always friendly, polite and informative.

I’ll be going to the bfi more often, in future, though.

It was 4 stars, down to 3, sadly.

What a delightful little cinema! The lounge area upstairs is lovely, spacious, clean, the food and drinks are very nice. The cinema rooms are smaller and more intimate and the chairs are extremely comfortable. Never have I been so comfortable in a cinema before. It’s worth the extra pennies. I will return.

Came here for an evening showing of Top Gun. Nice little bar upstairs where you enter the cinema. Nice seating area to have a drink before hand, but you can also take drinks in with you. Comfortable seating and not to busy

Pathetic. Tried to book on line a wheelchair space and would not accept our booking. Gave them a call, only for them to say you need to physically go to the venue to book the film as online bookings are not accepted. Even though there is a wheelchair box to select on line.

Love love love this gem of a cinema! Cosy comfortable seating, friendly helpful staff, and a good selection of snacks and drinks too- even some nice whiskies, which you get to drink from a glass tumbler!! There’s a bar to chill& chat with friends before or after the movie. Membership is very reasonable- and you get free tickets so feels like a win win. We especially love it because this feels like a grown up cinema club!

Lovely cozy cinema, friendly staff, and a gorgeous relaxing lounge bar whilst you wait.
However, the cinema does not accept cash so I will not be returning. A real shame!

Small cinema on the first floor. Booked on line without any problems. It was nice to have a bar in the reception area with helpful and friendly staff. You can take your drinks in to the auditorium. Plenty of room in front of the seats for people to pass along. Seats are bigger than usual and more than comfortable. Large screen and excellent sound system make it worth seeing a film here compared to home. The labelling of the rows needs to be clearer as people struggle to find their seats once the lights were dimmed.
