My favourite thing in my local area. Film Club is a lot of fun and a lovely crowd. The films are really wide ranging but they are expertly curated and cover lots of different genres. They are always good but on the intelligent side so tend to be things I'd never get round to watching at home but doing it with friends in a pub gives it that extra bonus. You also get a discount at the pub for being a film club member. The Star is a much superior venue than the last place with much nicer staff!

This Film Club is a great way to spend a Tuesday night in North London. I particularly like the audience participation - Nigel and Wayne give us a choice of three films linked by a common theme to see the following week so I’ve seen a fantastic selection of films. They are genuine film buffs who put a lot of effort into the evening, 51 weeks a year. Highly recommended!

Fantastic film club that shows films around 3 times a month upstairs in a very nice Tufnell Park pub with great food. Have seen some superb films & Nigel and Wayne are the perfect hosts, with quirky trivia and interesting choices that get put to the vote. Dawn good value too!

I've only recently joined and so far have only seen one film the 1961 Indie Noir Christmas thriller "Blast of Silence" which was pretty terrific on its own, however, the atmosphere which Nigel and Wayne have created is one of good fun and filled with like-minded people who simply want to enjoy a film in a convivial and well-behaved atmosphere. I'm looking forward to a year of new discoveries and getting re-acquainted with old favorites.

TPFC is a great venture - original choice of films, great intros from our local experts Nigel and Wayne, and good venue. We're lucky to have this in Tufnell Park!

A fantastically well organised cinema club that takes place every week at the Lord Palmerston pub. A great way to engage with current and past film trends and chat about it afterwards.
