Went to see 1917 and my friend and I decided we'd support this smaller cinema for a change, (run by a lot of volunteers) knew the film would be immersive anyway so didn't really need all the bells and whistles of the big complexes, loved that we could get a cuppa for a quid and anything else wasn't extortionate prices. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. X

Great cinema! Friendly, knowledgeable staff who care about what they are doing, excellent programming (interesting new releases, as well as classics and ‘arty’), reasonably priced drinks and snacks. A really exciting centre for cinema in East Anglia.

Nice independent cinema. Friendly staff and inexpensive films. Worth supporting, buy plenty of popcorn!!

My first visit to this lovely little cinema and the most fantastic opportunity to see Jodie Comer in her first west-end show, streamed live. Such a brilliant idea for those who can't travel to London. There were only five rows of seats, it's so cute! Great choice of hot or cold drinks & various snacks at very reasonable prices too. I shall definitely keep an eye out for future screenings.

Nice little cinema showing a range of carefully chosen films. A very welcome addition to Suffolk's cultural scene. Not sure about disabled access, worth calling ahead to check.

So lucky to have this art cinema in the area. The wide choice of films is very exciting and include those not shown in the large cinemas. You can rely on King Street to be showing a recent film long after the chains have moved on to the next release! Hence I got to see Mrs Harris Goes to Paris and it was a real treat.

This is actually the Ipswich Corn Exchange which is behind the Town Hall. Been here a couple of times to see comedy and its a decent venue. Very nice building but the seats are not very comfortable. Long queues for the bar, selling Adnams beers, and the womans toilets. Nobody was checking Covid passes etc and they hardly looked at the tickets. Otherwise staff were very good.
