ODEON Taunton

Took a party of nine 10 year old to celebrate our son's birthday. Pre-Paid an additional £2 per seat to have an alleged premium experience in screen 7. When we arrived we discovered there were no premium seats in that particular screen! Went to the front desk after the film to complain and the young staff member was completely understanding and empathetic to what had happened. However, her manager was less so. Rather than issue a refund or complimentary ticket she insisted that we should have informed them of the error before the film started and they could have moved the party to alternative seating? Her staff member explained the situation Wrt no premium seating in screen 7 but she refused to accept any liability. Rather than spoil the rest of the birthday party we accepted that the deliberately obtuse manager was not going to budge on her stance we left somewhat disgruntled at the additional cost. Other than that issue, a lovely experience.

Nice cinema with a good amount of screens. Ticket prices aren't as cheap as others due to no local competition, but the Limitless membership does make up for that. Close to home as well, so there's not far to travel when I want to see something.

Odeon is a con and is getting worse, They decided to put a kids film in the recliner room which costs more of which small kids do not benefit from recliners plus with cost of living increasing this is a big deal, no wonder the cinema is empty. £56 to take 2 6 year olds to watch a film and with 2 kids popcorn and water, Odeon you should be ashamed of yourself!!! The new cinema in Bridgwater is defiantly the way to go as its a new place and more than half the price.

One of the most overpriced cinemas around, with facilities that don't remotely justify the price. It's literally cheaper to drive half an hour down the M5 to Exeter and pay less than half the price at the Vue (which has much nicer screens/seats). Odeon Taunton outprices itself with competition that shouldn't exist. Good job.

Lack of staff, difficult to follow ticket machine, limited snack selection, also selected via ticket machine. Uncomfortable seating, apart from colour, could see no difference in premium seats. Really loud adverts and trailers. The film was good.

Easy parking , great cinema to take the children seats were. Good too and managed to get a promotional poster ( would like to have bagged an AVATAR poster 😌 ) but always worth the visit hopefully next time , we always go there to watch a movie ,plus you have a certain takeaway next door

Had an issue with overpayment on my app, the Manager was extremely apologetic and helpful and the issue has been resolved.
Just a shame Odeon feels the need to charge so much for sweets/food and drink. They'd make more profit, have less waste and generate more revenue if even remotely cheaper.

Multiplex cinema with regular and recliner seating screens. Serve hot dogs, popcorn, ice cream etc... cost £20pp for recliner seat screen film. Clean, comfortable and warm with friendly and efficient staff.
