It's very quiet, there's a lot of room when you sit down and the seats are very comfortable. Also the meal combo is a very good idea - popcorn, a drink and sweets for 4.99. Yes please

You really need to sort out your emergency exit light in Screen 2 . It’s far too bright and illuminates the whole cinema! 🙄

This used to be a decent, affordable cinema in the heart of Cardiff. However in recent years the state of the cinema has declined. I took my two young children to see the latest Marvel blockbuster movie Black Panther 2. after buying the tickets, and a bunch of food to enjoy whilst we watched the movie we noticed the screen had thick black lines through one half and was flickering. Myself and another customer went to the front desk where around 6 employees were standing chatting. We told them about the issue and they said they would fix it immediately, i then went back to my seat and sat through 20 mins of adverts with this flickering continuing on the screen and just as the movie was about to start we were told there was nothing that could be done and that there was another showing in over an hour but we could get refunds. We opted for a refund. After going to the front desk again for a refund we were told that all our food we had just bought was not refundable? I purchased the food to enjoy whilst watching the movie which i can now no longer do because you cant fix the issue? surely this is against consumer rights? youve made me waste a lot of money on food, which i wont be able to take to Cineworld because they dont allow outside food in their cinemas. completely ridiculous, the children were upset as we had planned this trip for a while.

Nice cinema, although totally missed the entrance! Comfy seats, although the Fire Exit lights were a bit bright!

Good sound quality but seats are rather uncomfortable and not easy to relax into. Also the lights don't dim much during the film which impacts the viewing experience.

Parking was a little tricky with all the road diversions, settled on parking at Central Station Car Park, a short walk away.
Cinema was very quiet for a 20.00 viewing of Avatar 2, which was AWESOME!!! £25 for fam of 4, £25 for sweets and drinks, typical Cinema prices, got a cool M&M machine, where you pick your flavours. Would go again for sure.

Escalators were working but blocked off. By all accounts they don't open until at least 20 minutes before the first film showing 🤷 Waited until 15 minutes before film was due to start and went up but shutters were still down. Waited a few minutes thinking what was going on then they started putting the shutters up. Enjoyed the film.

Not a great experience here. Layout I felt is poor. We went to see Avatar and thought we would wait until half way to get an ice cream (about 9pm) and to our surprise all the counters were closed! There was still a full cinema watching a film and they had closed! Very disappointing. As for the seats they need an upgrade asap! Cwmbran have recliners and comfort… these are the total opposite. Not even a tray table to hold drinks and snacks. 😫 i wouldn’t recommend this cinema and would wait to get into Cwmbran again as not the best.
