Cineworld Cinema Newport Friars Walk

Centrally located cinema, lots of screens, they'll probably have the film you're looking for. Clean and modern, comfortable seating, plenty of toilets.

Staff helpful and took payment by Tesco clubcard boost straight off the phone without a fuss. There are plenty of ticket machines too, have never had to queue on the occasions we've visited.

I love this cinema. Fab choice of movies, the staff are always friendly and helpful. The screen rooms are always tidy and leave you feeling comfortable during your stay. The only disappointing thing is the pricing which should be taken a good look as we had to pay a total of £65 for 6 people on top of that another total of £25 for drinks. Ridiculous money!!!

The staff at the cinema were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The cinema reception and toikets was clean and tidy. Seats were comfortable with loads of leg room. My only complaint was that the floor was sticky when we sat down so clearly hadn't been cleaned after the previous viewing, however when we informed the staff they were quick to resolve this.

Very expensive. When I came staff were kinda unaware of where I was meant to go, if the cinema was ready. Was standing outside for a good 10 minutes whilst the man went to check for him to come out chatting away and totally forgot to advice me I could go in. Eventually went in and sat down. Seats not as comfortable as I thought. Slightly disappointed. I do expect a bit better for the value of money.

The only negative I have is that Cineworld really need to have more staff working especially on the weekend when there is such a massive film, the avengers, showing. It took 20mins just to pay. There were only 2 staff that were taking money for tickets and snacks. This was not acceptable even with the automated ticket machines. 2 staff is not enough. The film was amazing the seats are super comfortable with lots of leg room.

Been a member of the 7 years. Buying a ticket is not cheap, but having a card is worth it. I get discounts that make it reasionable to buy at the cinema. It's about £9.00 for a large drink and popcorn and after my discount its £6.70. That make it good value. Plus factor is you are out and enjoying the big screen!

Wonderful customer service from tye staff. One person serving me popcorn and drinks was super helpful. She even helped me carry the stuff back into the cinema. An eight hour Star Wars marathon ending at two in the the morning was great here, and that was a lot to do with the staff.

Fab 5th Birthday Party here today. Brilliant venue. Children enjoyed the film and the goody bags. Coffee excellent for adults. Great friendly efficient staff especially the Manager Kerrie.
