Northants Removals helped me move from Northamptonshire to Wales recently. From the moment I contacted requesting a quote, their responses were prompt, helpful and clear. On the day, the team moving me were friendly, on time and worked efficiently to get me moved. A fantastic service, they took care of my property and made the moving process hassle free. I would recommend them without question. Excellent!

We had a great experience. Our move date was 'up in the air' for a while, and the date kept changing but this was no problem. The team on the day were very efficient, friendly and helpful. Everything was loaded and unloaded really quickly. Highly recommend.

So I decided to use this company as I had to move out of my home and put my items into storage as my property wasn't ready. The guys that packed my items away couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. My items should have been in storage for 1 month but issues, with my new property kept arising and my items ended up being in storage for 6 months. Noel could not have been more helpful, I purchased a table and chairs as I thought my home was going to be ready and when it wasn't he accommodated me by allowing it to be delivered and stored at the facility. I offered to compensate and he flatly refused saying it was all part of the service. If I needed access to the unit all I had to do was ring and give him some notice.
My problems began on 7th March when I moved in to my new property... Several items were missing, some where large and bulky, whilst others were small and some were heavy. I was in contact with Noel and Bryonie constantly chasing the location of these items. There were times when I felt I was being called a liar, I certainly got given the runaround, Noel assured me that he had his people searching for the items, people had left and mistakes were being found, he didn't have the manpower, did I want to see his overtime sheet, the list went on. Finally on 26th May we settled on a compensation figure(not enough to replace the lost items but it was never about the money) one of the items missing was a memorial birdbath my husband bought me on the death of my father and in my mind was priceless and irreplaceable, but to be fair Noel purchased one similar and compensated me in some way for the loss of my possessions. What had started off as, a really good business relationship sadly deteriorated into something that has left a very bad taste in this reviewers mouth. All I ever wanted was my items back, customers should always come first, if you promise to do something then do it, if you promise to communicate either by phone or email then do it, it became very one sided with me having to do the majority of the chasing. Certainly looking back on emails and calls it is apparent that I was promised many things that did not happen. Please, if you say you are going to do something then stick to it, you are a BUSINESS and your livelihood depends on honesty and trust. However these have to be earnt and on this occasion they have not.

We moved from Northamptonshire to Cumbria this week in the heatwave to end all heatwaves…. The guys packed on Monday and left early on Tuesday arriving in Cumbria in good time. By the time we picked up the keys it was 41 degrees and the lads worked tirelessly to empty the vans into our new home, spread across three floors, two van loads in this heat was no easy task but no one grumbled! They are the true heros of our relocation and we will be endlessly grateful for their dedication to the job despite the elements, and were worth every penny. I’d recommend them in a heartbeat, thanks so much!

They are all so professional, hard working, and so careful when moving and putting things back together.

Most of all, they just really "get" that they are there to make life easier and don't want you to lift a finger. Our first house move, I had an 8 week old baby so naturally I wasn't sure how it would go.

They were just perfect!

They worked all around me making sure I could keep my chair as the last thing to go in the van so I was comfortable and could feed my baby.

Likewise, on the other side, they made sure I was comfortable before unloading the rest of the house move.
