Excellent service, reasonable price, made my house move so much easier! Chelmsford Removals were recommended to me and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. I got four quotes in all, in terms of attitude, price and knowledge, they were by far the best. No hard sell, just straightforward. Can't rate them highly enough.

Plenty of boxes and packing material delivered before move day.
Then a brilliant service all day. Very polite and professional service. Prompt arrival, good, quick furniture dismantling. Then happy to wait until chain was complete before unloading exactly where furniture etc required.

I have used CR before hence why I went back to them, I would never use them again and would not recommend them as the move start to finish was not upto standards when we used them 5 years ago. I was explicitly clear when requesting a quote on our requirements, the terms used on the quote form is missleading & one office staff said 'yes that could be made clearer' so if you do use CR be careful and check all the details first. The staff are not helpful when preparing for removals which left me packing for my elderly parents and there was no sympathy from office staff. The removal team were friendly & polite however several items were damaged during transit which can happen and what was worse that someone tried to added comments to the signoff sheet which I captured and reported to the lead. This was acknowledged because the company paid out for damaged items. The insurance is new for old so you receive a small compensation for the claim made, again it maybe in the small print somewhere so check everything. You do not quite get what you pay for. What was also worse was that one of the team members used a derogatory term for someone with a disability to another team member in front of us, wasn't pleasent. Overall polite removal staff, unhelpful office staff and not a removal firm that generally seemed to care about the customer or issues that arise. Wouldnt recommend.

So glad we booked for our move . The team on the day were so friendly and professional , they even managed to rebuild some furniture that we thought would not cope with the move . They turned up on time and seemed to manage everything very quickly . They were so good with my little boy as well . Would 100% recommend .

Cannot recommend highly enough! From an informative and thorough quote all the way through to the move day Chelmsford Removals have been friendly, professional and easy to get hold of. They made moving day far less stressful and were careful and considerate when handling our belongings. Special thanks to Adam and Jamie who stayed with us all day and unloaded everything into our new home helping with assembly and patiently asking where we wanted each box and piece of furniture. Worth ever penny!

What can I say. Absolutely brilliant dealing with my late booking, knowing it was still variable! Moving day, what a team of highly professional, respectful and friendly folks you would ever want to trust to move your property. Its a big, big thing and the entire team were just simply fantastic. We had a 3 hour wait for our keys at the new property due to late conveyancers, it was just not a problem for these folks. Even at the end they were still checking to see if we didn’t want anything moving in the new property due to late changes of mind. I have nothing bad to say, congratulations to you as a business for having such great people. Thank you to everyone on the day for being superb. Absolutely, yes, we will recommend.
