Camvan were excellent - I'd highly recommend them to anyone doing a move!

From the outset, Christina was quick to provide a quote and answer questions that we had prior to the move. We were kept updated on when and how the move was going to proceed.

Next a survey was done by Lawrence, who was very quick to look through the house and assess our move. We were on a tight schedule, so he managed to get us a quote the same day.

On moving day, they turned up at the time they'd promised and were friendly, efficient, and obviously knew what they were doing. Valentin directed his team on how to properly load and transport our upright piano, which was delivered very smoothly despite some tricky doorways in our new house.

We also had a last minute change, to pick up extra items from a storage unit. The team were happy to provide a very reasonable quote for that and accommodate the extra items with no fuss.

Finally, once everything was delivered and in the right room, they checked that we were happy and whether anything else needed moving between rooms in the new house before they left for the next job.

All in all, an excellent experience at a very reasonable price!

We used this outstanding team to move in early July 2022 from Cambridge to London. The service from the initial video call, response to queries I had, to the moving day were excellent. They are a friendly, helpful, careful team that really look after our belongings and took great care. I am heavily pregnant and moving is supposed to be stressful (as experienced in the past), but not with these guys - it was a fun & chilled out day. Many thanks guys. I called Camvan and was able to have a survey done the next day with removals the week after. They always picked up the phone and were very helpful, reassuring and responsive. I booked the full packing and removals - very much recommended! On the day, they packed everything safely and swiftly with all the correct packing materials. They also helped me put everything into the correct place in the new house - I did manage to squeeze the fridge next to the washing machine in the end! Moved from a two-bed, first story flat in Cambridge (with no lift) to a three bed house 30 minutes away.

We originally just wanted the big furniture taken (sofa, TV, bed etc). We called Camvan for a quote and to check availability, they came to the flat and gave us a rough estimate and answered all our questions, they put us at ease straight away. We asked them the price of their full service (pack absolutely everything, dismantle big things, reassemble etc), it seemed a little pricey but now that it's done was completely worth it.

Moving home is stressful at the best of times, buying a property, dealing with cleaners and solicitors is expensive and even more stressful. The Camvan team took a lot of that stress away, they were all reassuring, helpful and friendly and got the job done quickly and effectively. We're grateful for their services and would recommend them (they said they work outside of the Cambridgeshire area too).

Timing wise, they arrived at the flat at 8am, we left them with the keys to lock up and met them at the house. They called 30 mins before they were done and arrived at the house. They put down carpet protection for upstairs and my partner just told them which rooms each box needed to go. They set up the sofa, TV, bed etc and made all the walkways clear so we could unpack and relax when we needed to. They were done by the early afternoon (1 or 2pm).

If I'd have known how much easier it would have been to pay the full price to get it all done, I would have been much more relaxed, I wouldn't have purchased my own boxes, recyclable bubble wrap and labels, I also wouldn't have wasted so much of my evenings trying to pack everything myself. Very grateful to the Camvan and would recommend them to anyone looking for a stress free move.

Camvan proved to respect the highest standards. The service price was the best I obtained. Other companies offered to do this service for a much higher price. From the beginning to the very end, Camvan was very responsive and easy to reach via phone, text messages and emails. Camvan was happy to answer all of my questions and clarify all the steps of the operation.

They came at the agreed time that day. Assessed the situation and found the optimal way to start moving our items. They were so professional and polite. With my wife, we recently used Camvan to move from Southampton to Cambridge. The service was excellent, the camvan's team arrived on time and took all precautions to make the moving smooth and relaxing. They took their time to make a proper loading and balancing the truck. The unloading in Cambridge was also very efficient. I highly recommend Camvan for anyone wanting to move in non-stressful conditions and to have a top-quality made job.

We have had to put our living room contents (including a heavy piano, lots of books, furniture and electrical equipment) into storage for 2 weeks while we get work done in the house. Camvan have provided an excellent service with minimum fuss. They are efficient, competent, friendly and considerate. The removal team arrived punctually and went to a lot of trouble to pack and move everything very carefully, including putting protective padding round the front door to prevent any knocks. We felt we were in totally safe hands and would recommend Camvan 100%.
