Hilderbrands Removals & Storage - Canterbury

Our move from Canterbury to the Isle of Wight involved packing, loading, transporting and unloading. All went well and to schedule and most importantly without any loss or damage to our belongings or the premises we moved out of / into. Excellent service and a good price

We were hugely appreciative of the removal service provided by Hildebrands. We had a challenging move from our 4 bedroom house to another part of the country. Chris and Aaron were brilliant over the 5 day move. They could not do enough for us. They were extremely efficient and patient and worked tirelessly throughout our move. This involved travelling to our new home on two consecutive days and moving our furniture into a townhouse with 2 flights of stairs to manage. This was physically very demanding and they showed great skill in manoeuvring our furniture up the stairs.

It was my first time using a removals company and Hilderbrands were recommended to me by a colleague. During the time building up to the move they were really helpful and reassuring, they took the time to answer any questions that I had and always got back to me straight away. On moving day I was very impressed with how efficient and careful they were and always felt that my belongings were in safe hands. I couldn't have asked for a smoother and stress free move and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a removals company.

This is the second time I have used Hilderbrands and on both occasions have found them to be professional yet friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Most recently they moved me from Canterbury to Essex, from a 5 room house into a 1 bedroom granny annex. Some of my belongings had to go into the annex while others were moved into the main house or into the garage. Paul and James made sure to double check on what went where and could not have been more helpful. While they are very good at their jobs, they are also very thoughtful and kind, aware that moving is a stressful business. Their calm and ordered approach helped enormously to make the whole process less overwhelming. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I would really recommend Hilderbrands. Our office move was originally planned for April 2020 but because of the lockdown it had to be put on hold at the last minute. Hilderbrands were really understanding and as soon as I had the green to go ahead in June, they managed to fit us in with just a few day’s notice. Karol and the rest of the guys who carried out the physical move were just as efficient, friendly and professional as the office team I had contact with.

The price was competitive but most important of all, the service they provided was really first class.

Hilderbrand’s are one of the most professional and courteous services I have ever used. All of their personnel were helpful, extremely well trained, and polite. They provided clear details of what would happen to the removal of goods from the windmill in Canterbury where I lived, how they would be transported, where they would be stored, and how they would be delivered to the Georgian flat in Bristol to which I was moving. The goods were well packed, none arrived broken or scratched, and when the grand piano was put together, a few chords were played which brought a smile to my face. Absolutely fantastic removal team. We had a traumatic moving day (to say the least) and the guys were professional, courteous, caring and went above and beyond to ensure our belongings were exactly where they needed to be. This was a last minute booking as the house we were buying was delayed. Wow! This company is amazing! From the first call to the office to the completion of the move they were professional and courteous. On the day the guys were on time and my furniture and belongings were picked up from storage and delivered in a speedy but respectful way.
