Bournes Moves

We needed someone professional and expert to move my partner and I from Aylesbury to Cornwall. From the very start we had Barry and Andy helping us with details and putting our minds at ease at our long distance journey. Come moving day, we had Dom and Dale, two young lads who were absolute powerhouses. They were incredibly efficient and careful, they moved heavy boxes with ease and professionalism. Our 3 bedroom house was cleared well within the time frame we were given, and even better, the lads did the job without scratching paint from the walls or damaging our goods. We had smaller items that we didn't think about packing into bigger boxes, yet Dom and Dale sorted and packed these into larger boxes to ensure their efficiency.

On arrival at the new house in Cornwall, we found the guys waiting for us, and instead of them being slightly tetchy at having a long drive etc, there they were, happy and cheerful. They had packed the lorry with Incredible cleverness, they had it packed so that when they started to unpack it, there was our boxes, in perfect condition and ready to go into the rooms. Fantastically done and very cleverly done and all undamaged.

Dom and Dale are an absolute credit to the company, their attention to detail, professionalism and courtesy were second to none. Their whole attitude and temperament made a normally very stressful time a pleasure. Not one single thing was damaged, everything was in the same condition as we packed it. Even our plants survived the journey, all upright, none had even fallen over (nice driving dom).

As a whole, we would like to say a very big thank you to Robinsons, they quoted us the cheapest price, the gents and ladies in the office were wonderful, polite and very friendly, and the delivery / removal guys themselves were absolutely fantastic.

I would have no issue at all in telling you this, if you need a reliable removal firm that gives you a really competitive price, has a courteous and professional staff, and with vans that are clean and obviously well cared for, then look no further. The smart choice has to be Robinsons of Aylesbury.

All people involved in the move were professional, polite and helpful. They offered useful and informed advice. Great care was taken when moving furniture and other items. Our belongings were stored by Robinsons. Later some items were moved to Ireland by a subcontractor. Again great care was taken and everything, including some delicate items, arrived safely in Ireland. Well done Robinsons for providing a great service.

We recently moved after 35 years in our old house. We chose Robinsons as they were a local family company and were glad we did. They were prompt & extremely professional. Their guys worked like Trojans and they were competitively priced. Overall a great decision and 5 stars.

The whole experience with Bournes has been excellent from quotation through to removal of our items into storage. All communication has been efficient, responsive and polite. The removal team were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and the packing and removal of items was done very professionally. We would thoroughly recommend Bournes…a well deserved 5 star rating!

We used Bournes to do our home move, which included storage for almost 6 months. They were a great team! Very professional, friendly and cared about our possessions. Absolutely no breakages, or damage and everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. After unboxing our belongings, the boxes were collected and taken for recycling or reuse. We would have no hesitation in recommending Bournes to friends and family.

Bournes based in Aylesbury were, until recently Robinsons of Aylesbury a family run business of many years. Having moved many times over the years all I can say is that it is the best moving experience I have ever had. We had a short notice change of removals companies and phoned Bournes to enquire if they could move us instead. Julia in the office based at Aylesbury was excellent, so helpful and was able to confirm they could move us. We are so glad as the Bournes Team of 5 led by Mark was so professional and when we unpacked at the other end I can only say how excellent their packing was. In sum I could not recommend the Bournes Team based at Aylesbury highly enough and their prices are comparable with other companies.

Bournes did a great professional job moving us out of our home in Bucks. All done to time and skillfully. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them

They did all my packing with great care, then took my things into storage for 10 weeks before the final move to Kent.
