W.H.Cox & Son Removals Middlesex

We had a two part move with WH Cox - a large 5 bed household. The assessor was polite and helpful and the office staff were efficient. The move, however, did not go well and despite paying for a packing service, I and my sister in law worked all day for two days to assist the packers. I understand the company was in the process of being purchased/purchasing another company and not enough staff were allocated to the job. Those people who were there were friendly, polite and efficient and were very apologetic. They did their jobs well, there were just not enough of them (I would estimate at least three staff members short). The reason I have given them more stars than you might otherwise expect given what I've written above, is that the company did respond well and handled my complaint well, and I do believe it's the putting right that counts. The second part of the move was done a couple of days ago, and this time the experience was vastly improved. Whilst it was a very small move, it had been accurately estimated and staffed and the guys were excellent, really helpful and efficient. Pricing was keen and as long as you check the staffing of a job to make sure it matches other quotes then I feel they would be fine to use. The people we bought our house from used them and reported they were very pleased - I think we were just unlucky.

Packaging materials was sent to us a week before.
On the day of the move the removals team arrived on time and did a superb job in moving the contents to the new house.
The team were always polite and friendly and even assembled the beds at the new house.

Also not a single item was damaged in any way.

I requested quotes from 3 different companies. One didn't reply. One sent me an email form that I returned and received an email quote in reply, but W.H.Cox sent an actual human round to inspect and price. A bit of human interaction when you are trusting a company to move your life's possessions goes a long way. They delivered packing material exactly when agreed. Turned up on time, were polite and hard working. Not much more I can add, imagine what you require from a removal company and it all seems present here.

The removal guys from WH Cox were excellent. They were friendly, helpful and hard-working and the move went very smoothly. Throughout the whole process from obtaining a quotation to the move itself, they were informative and responded quickly to queries. I would highly recommend using them.

If you need a removals company, look no further than W H Cox. From start to finish they were polite, friendly, efficient and punctual. They did not damage anything and provided us with packing materials whenever we asked and removed the numerous boxes afterwards.

Well, a bit dumbfounded to be honest. Just phoned up and politely asked for someone to come round and give me a quote. We are hoping to move early December from a 2 bedroomed large ground floor flat to a 3 bedroomed house. Was asked to send photos or give them a list of all the furniture. When I said that I had already spoken to two other companies and booked appointments for someone to come and have a look to quote, I was told they 'wouldn't normally bother to come out to quote on moving someone from a 2 bedroomed flat'. Charming.
