My mum and dad had bishops move when they went into their retirement flat two weeks ago and I must say they were absolutely brilliant they did everything they wrapped and boxed brilliantly they were friendly and knew their job they even left a chair until the very last so my dad had somewhere to sit they were lovely guys Gary and mike many thanks for making our move stress free

We were generally pleased with the service we got from Bishop Move in June 2022 during the move but the after service when we needed to make a claim for damages has been appalling. After lots of chasing by phone the boxes were collected a month later and their representative examined our broken large garden umbrella. We sent an email re claiming on the insurance we had to take out for this purpose on 19th July after he left and chased on 10th August. In both cases no response. Last week we phoned virtually everyday and promised an email. We tried to escalate to the Managing Director but no response from him so far. We can only conclude that the insurance which you have to take out is the way the company are earning their money. Last week we found a ripped canvas painting which they hadn’t wrapped for the move which we also need to claim for. Will this ever be resolved?

BUYER BEWARE
Finally, in late August we been told the insurance was only valid for a week which means you have to do all your unpacking one week to check for damage!! Even though they want your boxes collected. In our case we went straight on holiday as our move was delayed. How many people have time to read all the small print days before they complete, especially they exchange so close to completion. And it wasn’t explained verbally as we were booking. Feeling very disappointed and won’t be recommending them.
