Mark was considerably cheaper than the nearest competitor and offered a much more friendly, personable service. Mark came out to meet my fiance and me in person at the storage facility and assessed the job, he then followed this up with regular updates by phone and text, before arranging for his staff to attend two different locations in East Sussex for collection, with delivery in County Durham. Despite the huge distance, the delivery staff arrived early and worked quickly and efficiently causing minimal disruption and no damage. A great all round service provided.

An owner who is passionate about his business. Everything is high quality, removal trucks, quality of the staff and the storage facility are top quality. We had a messy move- Sold House- 4 month temporary move, hence storage- Then move into the new property. Over the years probably had 8 different moves, we had no idea a removal company could be this good. The removal people and all the staff were a joy to work with, nothing was to much trouble.

Mark Ratcliffe was very understanding of my storage and moving requirements. A very good and honest businessman that looks at every bit of detail from survey to packing to move. Kept to his word. Communication via the office was excellent including presentation of accurate Invoices. Storage facility is First Class and couldn't be better. All items kept safe and secure.

We were moving from SE16 in South East London to Eastbourne, a round trip of 150 miles for the guys. We had two large all glass bookcases and a glass coffee table together with the usual furniture, boxes etc. Vicky, Chris and Jayden arrived 10 minutes early, no mean feat in rush hour traffic, they were polite, professional, and extremely cooperative given we lived on the second floor with no lift. From their arrival to them placing our furniture etc in the bungalow we had recently bought it was only 6 hours or so, very impressive, with no damage or breakages!

I cannot speak highly enough of Vicky, Chris and Jayden, they were excellent throughout the move, and all at a reasonable price as well.

I thoroughly recommend Mark Ratcliffe and his team for all of your moving and self storage needs.

A move from a 4 story period property to something smaller. Mark sent a true team of professionals led by an unflappable leader/ packer, Chris. Over 3 days they packed loaded and unloaded. Nothing was too much trouble and our needs were uppermost in their minds. We have moved some 26 times. These guys are at the top of the league.

Easy to book a time and the whole experience was seamless. My driver and mover was Vicky who was tireless and helped me get the move done well within the time allocated. Nothing was too much. Professional and friendly. Thank you Vicky. You were brilliant.

Do not use this removal company if you value your belongings . The two men turned up with two vans they proceeded to move our belongings out of the house with so much damage to my fridge freezer my beautiful expensive bed and breaking the leg off of my settee they had all of the blankets to wrap the furniture but they just couldn’t be bothered all the chaps were worried about was finishing early and getting home one of the chaps was sweating profusely and carrying my settee cushions under his arm so they had to be washed I could go on and on but the top line is DONT USE THIS COMPANY !!!!
