John was super with the move, rescheduled us 3 times over a month due to legal issues with the house purchase.
Turned up on time, moved us out of utter chaos at the old place, into organised chaos at the new house.
Lots of unpacking to do, but we know where most things are.
All in all, top lads, great service, and very reasonable prices.

The team at Swadlincote Removals were first rate, can't praise them enough! Turned up on time, never stopped working until the job was done, courteous, careful and good-humoured. (And how they managed to fit everything expertly into the storage unit at the other end I will never know - great job guys! ) I will definitely be using you again in the future.

It was an absolute pleasure to have John & Jack assist us on moving home. They helped take the normal stresses of moving day away. Professional and friendly. Everything secured safely for safe arrival. Would not hesitate in recommending John and the team. I have moved several times and can honestly say these are the best guys I have ever been lucky enough to have help us. It was also great that when we found an item of furniture we wanted just after the move we arranged a collection with John without delay.

John and his team were all very polite and friendly. They worked hard all day, nothing was too much trouble for them. They placed furniture in the correct rooms, and we're very careful with all our belongings. Nothing got damaged. They are a great removals company, I will be recommending them to anyone that moves house, and they are very reasonably priced too.

John and the rest of his crew packed up and moved my father to his new home, 3 hours away, over a couple of days. They made the whole move easy and were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend them.

Definitely would not recommend. We moved a long way and asked the removals to double check a few days before we moved that the lorry would be able to take our belongings. We were reassured that it would be fine.

Move day was horrific. They didn't get fully loaded until 3:30pm, 3 hours after the keys should have been back with the new owner. The property was not empty and we had to come back the next day, thank goodness we had an understanding buyer. When we were told we were getting a lorry, I didn't expect a 7.5 tonne for a 4 bed house move.

A few days after we moved in, we noticed breakages. So much damage was done that was covered up; our double wardrobe drawer was broken, a pantry unit was broken, lamps and shades were broken, furniture dented, and the carpet protector they put down actually pulled threads of the carpet up. One of the men was rude and pretty unpleasant. The owner was polite but had obviously taken on more than he could deal with.

If you have a normal house move, avoid. I dare say they're good at smaller scale, but they've not got a clue about larger house removals.

The lesson learnt from this is NEVER take the CHEAPEST quote, we'll never do it again.
