Turners Removals

A 5 star service from beginning to end. All the staff were very friendly and efficient right from the start of the process, from the very first phone call to ask for a quote. Our move was a complex one, due to accessibility issues in Cornwall, and it being a long-distance move, but this didn’t present a problem for Turners. All the staff were very professional and considerate- special mention needs to go to Dan and Henry who not only worked as part of the team loading up in Cornwall, but then drove two vans up to Northamptonshire and unloaded between just the two of them. They worked so hard, but remained pleasant, cheerful and professional throughout. Many thanks for making this long-distance move run smoothly.

We were very pleased with the service we received from Turners right from the start. Bob visited our previous house to give us a quote - he made it very clear that we couldn't book until contracts had been exchanged (which is what I'd expect really) - so obviously they are being careful to avoid the previous 'pre-booking' issues which previous reviewers mentioned. The quote arrived via email the following day for a 3-day local move with packing. I had a few quotes, and this was the most reasonable (also I wanted a 3 day move - a couple were offering a 4 day move which I didn't want). In the run up to exchange I kept in contact with the office, and they were always happy to confirm whether or not dates I was suggesting were available or not. After exchange, the booking process was simple, and they offered to drop off some packing materials if we wanted any before the move (which we did, as some items we were happy to pack in advance). The time of arrival was confirmed for the packing day, and the crew turned up punctually - as they did over all 3 days. Each member of the crew were polite and considerate - they wore masks in the house and tried to keep their distance as much as was possible - they also lay down mats to protect the flooring. On the first day, packing and some loading was done efficiently, leaving us some time to clean over the rest of the day. On completion day, everything was loaded by lunchtime, and they took the vans to wait for us to get the keys. Everything was then uinloaded efficiently - all the crew, again, were considerate and where necessary, looked for direction on where items should go - they were also happy to move things around for us if we changed our mind about where they should go, which I was very impressed with. Overall, I would highly recommend Turners (or use them again....but hopefully not for a long time).

Had bob come round for a quote, he was professional and polite. We then choose to book them as we were about to exchange contracts.
My husband called turners and booked provisionally, he asked the lady if this was ok. She confirmed both verbal and in email.
Today we received an email saying the week we wanted was full up and booked to our confusion.
I left a voicemail and my husband aswell.
I then received a call from an very rude abrupt woman who raised her voice several times as if i should have known they Do not provisionally book. I feel that their attitude is both unprofessional and disgraceful.
Moving is stressful at the best of times and this has not aided our stress.
A very bad telephone manner

This is our 4th move with Turners over the last 20 years, which really speaks for itself.
The whole process ran like clockwork from the estimate with Scott, Denise and Caroline in the office were very accomodating on our delayed moving dates. We got there in the end!!!
Our fantastic team of the day Trigger, Jordon, Lee and Matt were punctual, polite, tidy and as we were downsizing from a 3 bed house to a 2 bed bungalow it was a challenge to place all the furniture, let alone the boxes but the lads were very patient and took all the stress out of it.
We really cannot fault the entire process.
Hopefully this will be our last move, but we would not hesitate Turners for all your removal requirements. Its a 5* from us.

Really happy with the service provided by Turners. They stepped in at short notice to move my mum who was very anxious about the move. The whole team were professional, friendly and reassuring, they really helped the move go smoothly. I’d have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Been meaning to do a review since we moved in but it was christmas then new year , we went into storage before our move north and didnt think we would get in before christmas but the guys managed to get it sorted and just before Christmas the guys moved us in and were so helpful all the way through, so we would like to thank you all for making a stressful move alot easier and nothing been to much trouble for them at any time .

The service we received from Turners was frankly amazing. They arrived on the Monday to pack our entire 3 bedroom house and pre-load their vehicles, and then on the Tuesday moved us 40+ miles away and unloaded all the boxes and furniture into the respective rooms. The only slight damage was to a LEGO model (completely understandable) and two houseplants, but apart from that everything went amazingly well. The care, attention and politness of the team was also amazing!
