Mick and the guys made the whole move enjoyable. They took great care of our items, offered advice and suggestions on how best to organise the boxes coming into the house they were all genuinely a great bunch.

Anything we asked or required they tried there best to accommodate and also made sure we had what we needed before they left.

We took the offer of a packing service and I would highly recommend this. Every one of our items arrived in the condition it left our previous house.

We chose the top price option to include dismantling of beds and wardrobes. Our experience began on the packing day before the move when the man in charge of the team moving us argued with my wife about whether dismantling a garden goal was included in the quote and then walked away saying he wouldn't move us and "he didn't f£@$ing need the hassle" in front of my young children. My children went to school scared that "The Swearing Man" would not move our things or would break them.

The man left the job at that point and other people in the team did what they had to do, and I spoke to Tim who told me that although he didn't think they should dismantle the goal they would on this occasion. The next day someone in his team told me that Tim had told them not to dismantle it, so I did it (which took about 5 minutes). Tim told me he deals with complaints in writing and asked me to write all this down so I wrote a long explanation of what had happened. Obviously the goal was irrelevant, but the behaviour of the main person on this job was appalling.

The move itself was OK - a lot of plants and cardboard models got squashed but nothing catastrophic given the awful start and there were plenty of people working hard to get the job done for which we are grateful. 2 months on and after Tim offering to come round to my house to discuss the written complaint whilst I was on holiday and me saying that I wanted a written reply to my written complaint I have heard nothing to repeated mails asking him for the result of my complaint. I am therefore reluctantly writing a bad review of a local business but given Tim's insistence that I should look at his reviews to see this stuff never happens I feel I have no option at this point to try and put other people on notice.

To summarise - this company upset my family and made our move much more stressful than we had ever expected and have still not dealt with our complaint.

CM Removals did my move in August, they were extremely professional, friendly and polite - and very responsive to any of my communications or queries I had. They supplied me with all the materials I needed to move. No issues - packed up and unpacked quickly and with no damage. Would highly recommend them to anyone I know, and would use again! Thank you for making it a smooth process.

Excellent company - I’ve used them to move my things in and out of rental properties and recommended them to my brother when he moved. The office staff are helpful and the guys doing the moving are polite and professional.

CM Removals fitted me in very last minute which was great. Mike and his removal team on the day were very friendly and helpful. Mike is a star. However, Mike was left to explained a clause of the contract which was not mentioned prior which cause some additional stress on the day. I didn't receive any boxes or packing material until 2 days prior to the move and no collection of the boxes post-move, this was especially dissapointing given I had source for and pay seperately for many of the boxes and packing material myself.

Excellent service and by far the cheapest comparable quote received locally. Although had an issue early morning with van not starting, kept me well informed and turned up with more men to clear house in an hour and unload even quicker. No damage to any of our property and very considerate of new carpets and white walls in new property. Would definitely recommend.

Even with all the back and forth and cancellations, CM Removals were still brilliant and more than accommodating in a difficult situation.

I used CM Removals for both packing and the move. All the guys were professional and got the job done quickly and safely. No breakages, all done quickly and even put up cabinets that they weren't expected to do. Great experience, would strongly recommend.

Whilst the removal team were great and our possessions were moved from Essex to Suffolk with no issues the initial communication with the company was very poor. We agreed a move and was meant to have packing materials dropped off on Friday, by Saturday we still had none. After 30 phone calls, 3 Voicemails, 2 Text Messages, 1 Email, and 1 Facebook message we still didn't get a reply.

After going to the registered business address on the Sunday there was no answer.

Got a text message saying he was away on a Family Holiday, and can we get the packing materials ourselves for the move the next day and would be reimbursed.

This left us just half a day to pack.

On the day of the removals all went very well and the Guys that came out was excellent friendly and polite.

Could not fault the removal service, just wish the communication was better.
