Hunts International Removals

I have just moved out to France from the UK and Hunts had been recommended to me by a friend. I could not have received better service. Very reasonable quotation promptly provided, furniture picked up and stored whilst awaiting a slot for overseas run and delivery right on schedule. Really pleasant guys at both ends, very organised and no damage whatsoever to any of my belongings. One happy customer !!

almost no communication once they had received the money. we had to call many times and hardly ever received a call back
the delivery guys were subcontractors from another removal company

most importantly:
many items were broken as they were simply not packed at all. such as...
- glass items, mirrors and other delicate items were just dropped on a sofa. during the drive they were smashed
- drawers were not taken out of the cabinets so the runners are now totally smashed and unusable
- liquid stains all over a sofa
- at the collection house Hunts broke a light and binned the broken parts without telling me
- 30 mins before the collection guys left they told me a sofa would not fit. leaving me to have to sort that out. and they did ship the cushions of the sofa... which i now have to ship back at my expense

We had a team of removal guys (Scot, Carl, Jim and Goliath) who worked hard, were careful with our belongings and kept up a sense of humour. They accommodated all the little details and even carried our park bench down the road for us on arrival at our new home. Thanks again!

My Family and I could not have been any happier with the service we received. During the actual move day they worked tirelessly to make sure the move went as smoothly and quickly as possible. We used Hunts removals including packing for a house move and would highly recommend them. Nick and Anthony arrived the day before to pack up our belongings and the smaller Luton van. They were careful, considerate, nothing was too much trouble. On moving day 4 men arrived. Everyone worked quickly and the second van was quickly loaded up in the morning. The move into our new house was hard going as there are steps up to the front door. They never complained and even brought in extra staff to help out. They had 3 beds and 2 large wardrobes to re assemble which was time consuming, again this was no trouble to them.
Hunts removals made our move a pleasure. The staff were all polite, hard working, excellent at their job and fun to have around. I didn't expect moving home to be so chilled. The added bonus was that they were also the best price of several quote.Thank you guys.

I contacted Hunts a few months prior to our move. Callum, guided us through the process. We had a site survey which was professional and informative. Our quote was extremely reasonable. Over the weeks leading up to the move, Callum advised us throughout. We had to change our move dates , last minute, however, this was not a problem. The day before the move, Morgan and Scott came to our house, packed boxes and loaded. Luton van. The day of the move went extremely smoothly. The guy’s worked extremely hard and were both professional and reassuring. Nothing was a problem to the guys. The move into the new house couldn’t have been any smoother. All lads were fantastic, they did my move over 2 days, packed 1st day and removal the 2nd day, the staff we had on both days couldn't do enough for us.
