At first it seemed as if they had done a decent job. The next day the problems became apparent.

Firstly, they hadn't removed everything they had agreed to. A short, polite email from me was met with the RUDEST reply I have ever received. Amongst other things, they were quick to fall back on their terms and conditions, even though they had agreed verbally to do what we had asked. BEWARE, if they want to play this game, their terms and conditions basically say that they don't have to remove your furniture! The rude guy was replaced with an apathetic guy for further emails, which was an improvement, but it was clear that they don't give a toss.

There was also a reasonable amount of damage to walls and skirting boards and some weird packing, which led to some broken stuff. Remarkably they did accept liability up to a certain amount for that breakage but that was a small fraction of our loss. It was a big stress dealing with them.

Due to work issues, I have moved three times in the last four years. Each time I used Reliable Removals: they weren't the cheapest, but they were so professional, friendly and keen to do a great job, hence my using them for repeat business. On the last move, I sold before I bought my new home, and they stored contents from a four-bed house for three months. Pricing was competitive, and everything was returned to me in perfect condition. Ask for Jamie to lead your move: he's ace, delightful and well-organised.

Excellent service, couldn’t ask for anything else. Booking was quick, easy and reasonable prices. Booked at short notice so we wasn’t quite ready when they turned up. The “can do” attitude with a smile really helped the day go smoothly. Really exceeded our expectations, would highly recommend.
