Very good service

Disclaimer I'm an employee of Pickfords for the past 5 years. I have used their services twice to move home myself though. First time as a local move in London, UK and second time internationally to Toronto. The crews both time did an exceptional job. Only one casualty during my international move, a wine glass. Overall pretty satisfied with the service as well as how they look after their employees :)

Great company

After an initial survey, we had to beg to get a quote. We got quotes from 3 companies, but ended up using Pickfords since they could do the days most beneficial for us, even though they were not the cheapest option. The lack of communication was a common theme, with emails and phone calls going unanswered for weeks. Being in the business of removals, I’m sure the company is well aware of anxiety and nervousness of the process. Their actions magnified those issues.

The move itself went smoothly. It wasn’t until unpacking that we realised how incredibly poorly items had been packed. Items that were flagged as high value during the survey process were literally throw into a box with other items. Artwork and pictures throw into a box with no paper/wrapping.

In the end, very disappointed in the service provided. Could not recommend.
