Visited the Hall and was impressed with the renovation.
It was interesting to step back in history.
The walk through the park was also enjoyable.
I would recommend a visit.

We attended the Chorley Flower Show there. It was well organized and we also bought a few plants

Went for the light event with not much expectation of a free event.

We really enjoyed it!

Parking was free, short walk to the hall from the car park.

The surrounding gardens were clean and tidy and the light show was brill.

Toilets were clean too.

We’re definitely going to visit again for the play area.

After two years of renovation work, Astley Hall reopened to the public on Saturday, 21 May 2022.

Parking is free of charge. Tickets are available to purchase from the Astley Museum Shop,

It was fascinating to see what a home was like long ago. Very friendly staff with informative signages.

Beautiful building and walled gardens. We especially enjoyed the stunning magnolia trees.
Lovely tea shop with a good selection of food. Perfect to sit out in the courtyard on a sunny day. Be sure to visit the small gallery above the tea shop for interesting local art and pottery. A perfect place to visit on a sunny day.

Beautiful buildings and lovely grounds. Unable to see the hall as it was not open. Good cafe serving really nice food and coffee. The only downside is that walking around the grounds there are lots of dogs unfortunately some owners haven't been picking up after them and consequently you have to constantly check where you are putting your feet. It's not the dogs fault but the inconsiderate owners.
