Really interesting, lots of interactive displays and loads to do. Surprisingly fun for a small local museum

Well worth the visit.

This place is a little gem. Just a small frontage but opens out into a large & interesting place. Well worth the entrance fee of just £3.50 for seniors & £5 for others.

An excellent local history museum, art gallery and visitor information centre.

I really enjoyed our visit, we particularly wanted to see the ancient copy of the Magna Carta, and wasn't disappointed, we had a guided tour by a very knowledgeable member of the team, called Graham making our visit all the more interesting.

Brilliant place, loved the fact you could interact with some of the exhibits. Really friendly and knowledgeable volunteers. Free entry (donations welcomed!). Worth the visit.
