This place is great. The museum has some cool and interesting things.
Children and adults all will have something to their liking and will definitely have a good time.

It is recommended that tickets be bought online beforehand to avoid last minute chaos. For those wondering, the tickets are free!

There are cafes if you need refreshments and of course pay a visit to the gift/souvenirs shop for some cool memorabilia.

You will easily spend 2 hours or more so be prepared and make your plans accordingly.
Have a good time!

Great place to visit with kids! The ground floor is about space exploration and some old machines. There is a floor about medical science. Another one for math and science. One for the digital age and telecommunication and the last one about flying machines.
My kids loved it! It is easy to spend at least 4 hours there.
Entry is free but it is useful to book the visit in advance, if it is full they will not take walk in visit.
The cafeteria have good food and the ice cream in the top floor is very good!

Fun, educational and certainly a visit you won't forget in a hurry. The myriad levels of things to see and do are sometimes staggering and you won't be bored by everything that you see. Being a science fanatic, I absolutely loved my time here and even the gift shop has some decently priced things - especially the books! I don't even need to recommend the museum as the reviews here speak for themselves.

Fabulous, must visit if in London. They have a great teaching for all there kids and adults. It's for free, need to book / reserve online, to make it convenient. Staff there are very helpful and kind. Massive learning. Amazing museum. My kids enjoyed the museum.
Toilets are clean. There are floors to see, so try to get early.

Thoughts: this museum is very interesting as it tells the story of innovation and evolution of human technology through the years. For someone who was born in the 80s, it was very nostalgic to see the technology of that era once again. The flight section in particular was too much fun for me. Expect a crowded experience with too many kids around.

Time: around 2.5 to 3 hours

Children: among all other museum, this is the most suitable for children as there is a full section of interactive games and virtual reality experience.

This place was amazing! Everything was well cured and divided in sections. Maps are really useful if you want to visit specific area first. Each item is well explained, and located in a specific timeline. I loved to learn the story of the object and the contemporary scenario in which it was used or built. The necessity behind each item and the reason why new discoveries were made necessary was interesting too. There are also interactive exposition, so it is really fun learning experiencing with you own hands. It took me two days to explore everything as I wanted, but I think that it is possible to have a quick look in one day, stopping for longer time only in those sections in which you're more interested in.
This is a great place to bring your kids! There are a lot of fun stories and everything is fascinating.
The free entry is a plus, of course.

I haven't visited since I was a child so only had vague recollections of what to expect. Today I took my soon to be three-year old for his first visit.

It's fair to say we both had a really enjoyable 2.5 hours. We would have stayed longer but I knew my son was running on fumes. So much so, he fell asleep straight away when we got on the bus back to Victoria!

My son especially liked the 'garden' in the basement, the pattern pod, the making of the modern world and space exhibitions. To be fair he liked all of it, although perhaps not overly interested in the information age on the top floor. To be honest that was towards the end of our visit so likely was the reason why.

The whole experience is superb. Interesting, engaging and educational.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, will be back soon.
