Kind of old school museum with a distinct council feel. I'd say more interesting for locals / Londoners than tourists. Having said that, the exhibition on Trade, the 1st after hour club in London was okay. And their community based projects....great.

Islington Museum has collected quite interesting expositions of historical artefacts. Also, there is a nice play area for kids as well as a toy cafe and a kid's kitchen with a couple of historical things.

Actually quite an interesting and nicely kept local museum - I will be back.

We went to the messy play session - What FUN!!!! Lottie and her team are SO cool. A relaxed, exciting, creative atmosphere. Must do for kids/families. Then a surprise - a treasure of a museum that hits a perfect balance for adults and kids.

This is a true hidden gem. Everything one reads in novels and sees in films comes to life among the moving and dignified curation. The war, the children's evacuation, the blitz, the suffragettes, calling the midwives ... so much reality and so many dreams. Highly recommended. Free entry too!

A nice little museum with friendly staff. There is a good children’s area as well. Would recommend. Free entry too

I think this is a very disappointing museum. There is nothing of any real interest. It fails to provide any coherent history of the borough.
