Great little museum boasting exhibits of the world's first public railway, one of the first Augustinian monasteries in England, along with the history of all the plant oil distilleries, snuff mills, copper works, and printing works that still emanate in the area. They also have block printing classes you can sign up to.

Small and local and packed with interesting stuff. Nice contour map model too. Very knowledgeable staff. All volunteering enthusiasts. Can book to do woodblock printing like William Morris!
