Friendly and helpful staff. This museum is wonderful for showing Chester throughout the years. Their Roman artifacts are superb but be surprised as it's not all about the Romans. Well worth a visit.

Good museum in the centre of Chester.

Medium in size, takes about 1 to 2 hours to get round, displaying lots of the history of Chester including Roman times etc

Definitely worth a visit.

Free entry but they more than welcome donations.

No parking, so park on town car parks where signed. Small gift shop, toilets on site.

I enjoyed walking round the museum. The experience was good. The staff were so polite and very helpful.

It's a small museum anyway, but it is surely a good place to visit in Chester. The museum is very clean and COVID-19 conscious. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Chester.
