Fossils Galore

This shop is a real find, fossils, gem stones and crystals galore. Not only that but a tea room and children's workshop too.
Lady at the till was lovely to chat with, nothing was too much trouble.
I will definitely visit again, next time with my son.

Brilliant fun for my daughter's birthday party, engaged children for 2 hours with loads of fun, laughter and knowledge about Fossils and dinosaurs, highly recommended xx

This is our second time here as we live an hour away but it is worth the long trip.

The lovely woman, Isla, in the shop is a true blessing. She is so knowledgeable on the crystals and nothing was too much trouble. My 8 year old daughter has been looking for an opal crystal for months but unfortunately I couldn't afford to spend a fortune. Isla took the time to find me a lovely piece within my budget by raking through trays of unsorted crystals for me. Thank you so much.

We will be back to visit again soon.

We had a great time at fossils galore, the two ladies were very helpful and informative Victoria gave some great tips on fossil hunting. I child have looked around all day but we were extremely pressed for time. So many fossils and crystals to buy. Definitely a great place for adults and children for some hands on experience. We'll be back!

This was our first visit and the kids loved it, there’s a lovely lady called Beverly who explained everything to the kids and they were so excited to get started. We will definitely be going back. I Would 100% recommend this!

We spent a few happy hours here yesterday exploring the activities on offer with our 5 year old (who is currently really into fossils and archaeology). The volunteer who helped us access the activities was knowledgeable and friendly, helping me with our young baby as well, and sharing her enthusiasm and knowledge in a really child-friendly way. We would never have expected the activities at the back of the shop (the shop itself is worth a trip if you like gems and fossils); it was set up so that kids could all find something special and learn along the way. A really good first introduction to palaeontology and archaeology (I'm an archaeology museum curator).
As an aside, we loved how inclusive the place felt too. We loved seeing the team chatting happily together - it has such a welcoming and cheerful vibe.
Facilities were good too - rough and ready but in a very good way that works well with kids.
And, the team are currently helping us to retrieve a much-loved Teddy that our son left behind by mistake, which shows how much these guys care.
All in all, a fabulous find and one we will return to. Thanks!

When I went there I thought it was a shop but then you go out the back and it's like a mystical new world my staff member Charlotte was the nicest person I've ever met she is smart and is so nice. Best place ever amazing price. Such a good place so much recommendation would love to go again. Thanks to all staff but my favourite so far Charlotte.

Got some beautiful agate coasters, they also have fossils and a whole range of different rocks some in cute shapes of pokemon or even toothless, some fossil based childrens toys and excavation eggs with food avaliable at the back of the store if your hungry/thirsty. Liked the pretty book end and candle holder items. Friendly people who offer help but will let you just look about until needed. Also had some what looked like harry potter wands for sale too.
