Excellent place, really enjoyed it, very good value for money, run by enthusiastic volunteers, Had a great guided tour of inside the Vulcan bomber, there are other aircraft you can look in. You can get close to the exhibits, the inside displays were excellent with plenty to see. Really good atmosphere, we loved it. Well done Solway Aviation Musium, highly recommend and good place to take your kids.

Good museum but fairly small but very well looked after by obviously caring staff.
You can actually get in to the Canberra and Vulcan.
In short it was a 2 and a half hour drive there and back for me but well worth it

Excellent morning out, we all really enjoyed the museum. The volunteers really make the place and a special thank you to the gent who told us all about the Vulcan Bomber - he managed to keep my son's attention for longer than I've ever managed!

This place was great value for money and a good place for people of all ages. It was nice to be able to go inside a few of the planes especially the Vulcan, this is a must and very interesting.

Excellent little museum run by friendly, knowledgeable volunteers.Good indoor displays and memorabilia plus internal access to many of the outdoor aircraft, particularly the Vulcan, which is a must see.
No cafe on site but there's a drinks machine along with some tables in reception and clean, accessible toilet provision.
Very good value for money.

This place is incredible if you're into your history, I am not a history or plane buff but my partner is, even I found this place awe-inspiring to walk around. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, there are toilets on site, tickets are affordable and available to purchase on the door. Car parking is available and you are free to roam at your leisure.
The Vulcan bomber is the star attraction, you can get inside and have a tour of the plane, definitely a must if you're visiting. It really is worth the trip.

Fantastic museum. There are loads of aircraft outside, including a Vulcan Bomber! We love this place, the staff are so knowledgeable about all the exhibits and always happy to chat about them. They also ell some really good fleece jackets and padded gilets!

An absolute gem some very different aircraft, spanning many areas of flight, Fantastic displays including, a very interesting presentations on female aviators and their role during the early days of flying and their crucial role during the wars.
The aircraft look magnificent even though they are out in the open.
They have an amazing collection of cold war era jets
Well worth the visit
