Lovely information centre in a prime location adjacent to the large, but chargeable car park.

There is a tourist information centre, a gift shop that has lots of lovely gifts & informative books to purchase, a local crafts exhibition, plus a free museum to gain so much knowledge from about this very historic area of the New Forest & surrounding areas, the staff could be happier, but overall a wonderful experience!

Really informative museum with interesting history for both locals and tourists. The gift shop has some lovely gifts, maps and books. Cafe was nice a bit pricey but so is everywhere else in lyndhurst. Given the low cost of the museum I felt it was fair. It was clean and the service was good

A free museum with good photo opportunities, it's also a transit stop equipped with toilets, when changing the New Forest sightseeing buses.

Really fascinating visitor centre with a museum free of entry and really worth a good look around. Also a well stocked gift shop and cafe on site too as well as tourist information. Conveniently located by the bus stop and near the centre of Lyndhurst so definitely worth visiting if you want to find out more about the history of the New Forest!

We were too late to visit the museum but the cafe had great service, lovely coffee, tea, flapjacks, and scones at reasonable prices.

Wonderful place to visit. Great little gift shop and cafe. The staff were wonderful and helpful also. The museum was particularly enjoyable, our 8,6 &4 year old loved it. You have to try and slow them down a bit so they don’t plough through it in 5 mins but if you stop to read everything then it takes a while. Definitely worth popping in.

There is a gift shop, small museum and cafe. On arrival asked to use the hand sanitiser that they provide. The gift shop has many souvenirs if you come on holiday (like I did) and all were reasonably priced. Museum was very good to learn about the local history. Did not order anything from the cafe but looked clean and tidy.

I am grateful for the informative factoids about the ancient ways off the New Forest commoners which are imparted via lots of excellent and interactive displays.
