Great little place to visit. Compact so you can do this in a couple of hours. The museum is well laid out and very informative on the history of this place. Do go and look at the story of the gurkha soldier, who now lives in this region according to their information. Upstairs has an art collection, which is well laid out with good signage. Helpful informative staff who are very happy to tell you anything you might want to know. Very refreshing as have been to some places where they cannot be bothered. Do have a cream tea. Served so professionally by a lovely guy who works there and has such good customer care

Had a display about Medieval life which was really interesting. Gentleman who put on the display was very knowledgeable and approachable and was so patient with my 3yr old grandson, full of questions! We even tried on a knights helmet! It was a visit my grandson is still talking about.

Always try to pop into nuneaton art gallery when I'm over there. I found the temporary exhibition about nuneaton Abbey interesting this time and the exhibition of press photos of nuneaton through the years interesting. Their permanent collection of paintings donated over the years has some lovely gems in it.

Enjoyed the art exhibitions, and also the George Eliot artefacts and replica drawing room. Good value cafe too.

Went to see the costumes from the TV series Gentleman Jack. Excellent. Viewed rest of the Museum's exhibitions which were very good, interesting and informative

Nice small town museum and art gallery. Very helpful and interested staff, and a good cafe. Collection seems to be based largely on the work of a local artist, Hallawell, who painted and sculpted.

Nice for little walk around to see some historical stuff along with George Elliott's life collection.

It's a small provincial museum and art gallery with free entry. Downstairs is the museum on local history and George Eliot and upstairs are the art galleries. There is a very small shop by the entrance. The summer 2021 temporary exhibitions I thought were very interesting. A trip down memory lane with the 90s exhibition and two watercolour rooms, one on coast to coast from Hilary Morris and an eclectic mix of watercolours from John Longcroft-Neal. A visit could take an hour, 2hours max. I parked in Sainsbury's car park as it's free for max 2 hours. It's an enjoyable way to pass some time.
