The Royal London Hospital Museum

This is one of those gems that London has so many of but which few people get to see. It isn't a huge museum but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in interest. You can trace the fascinating history of the hospital itself. But it also has exhibits on the so-called "Elephant Man" Joseph Merrick and a small display on the Jack the Ripper murders which took place in the locality. It can be a bit tricky to find as it is located in the back streets behind the hospital. But, once you have found it you'll be glad you did.

Lovely little museum. Very very clean and tidy. Also a very cheap little shop with postcards books dvds and more. Well worth a look. Small but size isn't everything

Very interesting if you want to learn about the History of the Royal London Hospital. Also has a replica of John metrics remains.

Great place to see medical history from the 1800's. George Washington teeth are there along with some elephant man items

Nice little curiousity of a museum on the history of the hospital and its place in time. Fun and interesting for a quick visit for those interested in medicine and/or history.

Small little museum filled with info on the history of the hospital, the buildings, story of the elephant man as well as his skeleton! Worth a visit.
