Great place! So much thought has gone into each display here. Loads of activities for different age groups of children. Really impressed with the hands on areas dotted around the museum and of course the Tivvy Bumper. Had to pry my two away!

First time I've been In year. Massively Improved since last time. staff where awesome. Great idea to put the toys and games dotted around each exhibit to entertain the little ones whilst the adults can read and look at all the Displays.

One of the best and most interesting museums I have visited. Amazing exhibits professionally displayed and very informative. Highly recommended.

So much to see on so many different aspects of Devon life. Fascinating. Just don't try and see it all in one go!
Most fun was 'driving' the train and blowing the whistle.
Really friendly and helpful staff.

Tucked away gem. Absolutely excellent. Perfect for my 5 year old, would be enjoyed by any child up to about 12 and any adult from 18 to 80. Proper tardis of a place. And the steam train is just superb. Oh and friendly staff, clean loo etc.

We spent a couple of hours looking around this very interesting museum, it looks small from outside, but it is a lot bigger than you think and there is a lot to see. Well worth a visit.

A really well curated, visually appealing, and interesting museum. We brought some of our SEN students here, and the staff were accomodating. The education/school liaison, Kate, was particularly inclusive and friendly. Well worth a visit!
