Mansfield Museum

Incredible little spot, full of insightful information about mansfield and our impact on the environment.
Interactive displays and very much children orientated.
Brilliant support groups and refreshment facilities.
My only criticism is that its not big enough. We need more please!!

All about Mansfield through the ages, specifically (but not exclusively) for children. A lovely experience for everyone.

Nice little museum with some interesting pieces of local history. A good play and learning area for young children with plenty of things to keep them occupied for an hour or two. Staff are helpful and friendly, worth a visit 😁

Do you know local councils are getting bashed recently for various things. This is our local council providing a great community walk through history of the local area. It is so much more too, lots for children over school holidays, clothes swap, and various events championing the theatre next door.
We had a wonderful hour (needed more) looking at the exhibits and learning about other things in the area. The staff we're impossibly kind and generous with their information. Especially enjoyed the space room with photos provided by a local photographer.
Keep up the community kindness. It's a lovely place and well worth an hour or two of your time.

Lovely little place. I took my 2 and a half year old while her older sister was next door at the theatre for panto.
My daughter loved the museum and all its interactive exhibitions.
The man at the front desk was lovely and was talking to my daughter.

This is a lovely place to take your kids to teach them about the local history of the Mansfield area it's well worth a visit.
