Came here for a birthday visit and was thoroughly impressed, lots of interactive displays and family activities. Viewing stations located around and all staff are friendly, all with knowledge of planes and equipment and were happy to educate and share their knowledge. Everything followed previous covid and hygiene guidelines. The exhibits are amazing and so interesting. If you are interested in planes or just want to learn I highly recommend this place

Excellent museum. Packed with aircraft, artifacts and information about the Fleet Air Arm, from the begining to the current time. We spent nearly 5 hours there and didn't see everything. So do allow enough time to enjoy it.

Perfectly situated next to a Naval Air Base. Just amazing. Felt like a big child on Christmas morning knowing I was coming here purely because they had a Concorde. This place took me so far back through history and the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I spent easily 2.5 hours here and still think I could have seen a little more. That's me now seen my top three favourite aircraft! 🙌 Bucket list item checked ✔️ I just wish I had my photo taken in between the landing gear of the Concorde, that would have been a good one! So many planes and helicopters to see! There is a cafe inside and a gift/souvenir shop also.

This must be one of the best aviation museums in the UK. A little pricey but you can revisit within 12 months.

A unique story of naval aviation covering 4 huge halls crammed with full size aircraft all linked to naval aviation.

Nice touch - helicopter "flight" onto the deck of an aircraft carrier and tour of deck plus 'Island'.

A great place for families too, but there's something for all here, including a testbed Concorde which you can wander through .... amazing to see the belt and braces technology inside.

Cafe and shop on site with free parking next to a picnic area.

Excellent experience, kept two grandsons aged 10 & 12 happy for 2.5 hours. They particularly loved interactive objects and being allowed in aircraft. Miffed they couldn't go in Concorde's cockpit especially as an egg had been permitted in!

Great day out, informative about the Fleet Air Arm from its early days to the present. Interactive stuff for the kids. Well thought out and very helpful staff. Toilets not easy to find. One eatery that stocks lots of vegan friendly food but hardly anything gluten free, not good for coeliacs (glad I took my own sandwiches!) hence 4/5.

Great museum, knowledgeable/friendly staff and great for reference photos etc.
Shop ok but expensive. Hardly any model kits and the few that were there were very expensive.
You would think there would be kits of the aircraft that are at the museum.
Overall though, a great place if you're into aircraft and military history. Well worth a visit.

Wow what a brilliant museum. Lots of displays and aircraft you can climb aboard on. Visit the runway viewing room and watch helicopters and planes taking off from the airfield. Kids and adults will love this place. Currently you need to book tickets online but check their website out first.
