Didn't know this place existed only found it after a walk through the park. Some interesting things in the museum and worth a look around.

Lovely little shop. Very friendly helpful staff. Super art exhibitions and a very enjoyable look back in time museum .My grandkids loved it .Of course a walk in the park afterwards a must.

Not the biggest but it has some nice items like the vintage fire fighter trailer. Gift shop. Tea room and clean toilets. Run by volunteers. Work taking place at moment so call ahead for opening times. Nice staff. Free car park just 4 mins walk away. Some braille books for visually impaired. Walker provided for those who need assistance to move around.

Small but lovely local museum. You can find different object about people's life, local rugby club, miners. Especially kids will love gaming room. It starts old to new game consoles. You can play bowling, car racing and many more. Gift shop is small but rich objects and cheap. Highly recommended.

Stopped for a cuppa after a long walk. Warmly welcomed and served with tea and cake surrounded by paintings and lovely old china. A walk through the museum to the spotlessly clean loos revealed a host of interesting exhibits.

Lovely comprehensive museum tracing the history of Pontypool. Lots of really good exhibits, both industrial and domestic. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Nice tearoom. Good for children.
