The old gentleman was very helpful and briefed me about the most important events of the history R.M.R.E. He also gave me tips on what to do in the city. The museum is small but there are many interesting pieces from all around the world inside. Definitely worth peeking inside especially if you are interested in military history.

Weapons, photos and old newspapers, costumes are very nice in this museum. Monmouth castle was very poor. There was only walls left. But you have to see

Difficult to find, friendly little town and people were happy to direct us. Nice little museum, not a whole day out but interesting all the same.

Hidden away behind Monmouth town centre this is still a working barracks housing both the TA and cadet force. Not a big place but very interesting.

A really interesting museum with a good collection of well displayed pieces with interesting information. Free entry and staffed by volunteers. Worth a visit

Lovely little museum for the RMRE. Lots of interesting thing to look at, uniforms, weapons and personal details and history.
