Flute & Theory Tutor

Catherine was excellent at engaging my daughter in the lesson & bringing out the best in her. The lessons were enjoyable & inspiring, & consequently the outcome in the exam better than we expected.

Catherine has a huge amount of energy and professionalism during her flute lessons. Put simply - she is an excellent teacher and I cannot recommend her highly enough. The transition from face to face lessons to online lessons was seamless with the same amount of achievement obtained in both settings. My daughter thinks she is wonderful. I think she is wonderful. And my daughter’s improvement in her flute playing speaks volumes!

Catherine has been teaching my daughter for over 6 years, of which more than one year has been done online. This has worked really well and the lessons are still as professional and personal as if they were face to face. Due to certain logistical problems- time restraints and travelling issues we could not continue face to face lessons, but due to the Online teaching it has been made possible to continue lessons with Catherine, which has been amazing. We have never experienced any problems whatsoever.

Mrs Whitehouse is a really nice teacher. Her Online theory lessons are fun and interactive. I thoroughly enjoyed them and got a fantastic result in my grade 5 theory at the end. Would recommend to anyone.

I have been taking lessons with Catherine for over a year and I can fully recommend her. She is professional, approachable and she has an incredible capacity to adapt to every student needs. I have made an incredible progress and my daughter (8 yo) started having lessons as well short after me. Her methodology with children is very good making them improve and enjoy at the same time without any pressure.
My final thought is that you might find good teachers out there but not better than Catherine.
