Pro Music Lessons - Guitar & Bass Lessons in Guildford

Sam has been teaching my son (aged 9) double bass and electric bass guitar for the past 18 months. He is an excellent music teacher and we couldn’t be happier with the progress made under Sam’s tuition. It is my observation that Sam’s influence extends beyond the understanding of the instrument. Through his wealth of experience from performing, recording and producing, Sam is developing my son as a wider musician and not ‘just’ a double bass or electric bass guitar player. For me, that distinguishes Sam as a truly gifted and inspirational tutor.

Sam has been teaching me bass for just over a year and I cannot rate him high enough! He is patient, knowledgable, extremely talented and within a year I've been able to step into a band and play, which far exceeded my own goal! I would highly recommend him to anyone wishing to learn at any standard.

Sam is an amazing and talented teacher.
Within a year he fixed up a lot of bad habits I’d picked up being self taught, worked with me on a solid foundation in theory and gave drills to finesse playing. Now way more confident and able to play, and keep learning.

Having had lessons from Sam for over two years, I feel that I have really progressed as a guitar player and a musician, thanks to Sam's enjoyable, engaging and comprehensive approach in expanding the world of improvisation and jazz music theory, as well as helping me achieve Grade 8 electric guitar.

I was extremely average at bass before i got lessons with Sam and hes transformed me into a very decent bass player, not only is he's teaching constantly on point and informative he also extremely well versed in teaching, sometimes i'll misunderstand things and sam goes to lengths to teach me, he also gives me practically homework to help me understand more.
